So... we are giving away $25 gift cards to Olive Garden to four lucky winners! And this time, you can win one for yourself!
What we want to know is why you want to win, and who you would bring with you. Maybe you and your son or daughter need some time together. Maybe you want to take your mother or father out to lunch and reminisce. Is it your brother or sister's birthday soon? Does your spouse or partner deserve a night on the town? Or perhaps a best friend would like a girl's day out. No matter what the occasion or why you want a card, you can tell us and enter to win!
To enter this contest, in the comments below, share with us who you'd bring and why. PLEASE do not forget to include either a full name (first and last) or an email address, or sign in to your Blogger account. This helps us verify the winners!
This contest will run for a week, which means that we will be selecting our winners on Valentine's Day! (Just so you don't forget that we love you.)
Good luck everyone!

Congratulations!!!
I would like to nominate Heidi Bernabucci. She is an incredible friend and amazing wife and mother. Every other week we meet at olive garden between our houses and eat lunch together and "unwind" with our kids (Bobby B and Riley). She has no idea how much that time means to me, her friendship and love and support are an incredible key in my sanity, and I so appreciate her. So if 1 week she didn't have to pay for her meal, it would mean so much to me to see her enjoy that time even more!

I want to win because I would love to take my husband out on a date. We don't get to go out on our own much. Heather heatherlm4 @ gmail
ReplyDeleteCathy, I want to win so I can take YOU out! You do so much for everyone else, I want to thank you!!!!

I would like to win because with having three kids it's hard for me and the husband to get out. We spend all our money on the kids. We never spend money on us. We have been told by friends to go out and they will watch our kids but we never have the money. Olive garden is one of our favorite places to go.

I would like to win this card to take my son out to lunch tor his 20th birthday on Feb 23rd. I am all he has. He's been going through so much and I always wish he had a dad like most boys do but all he has is me. I cry writting this because I am disabled from the damage done to me from both my cervical cancer and the radiation/chemo to treat (kill) it! There is no money to buy him a birthday gift this year so this would be a wonderful win for us! We never get to go sit somewhere and have lunch. My son does not work yet.He is ADHD and half deaf. They have him in a program right now to help him get a license.Next they will help him train for a job. So we struggle and we dream a lot! Maybe this can help us have a dream come true! Wouldn't that brighten up his birthday for both of us? Least I would feel like I gave him a gift!

I'd love to take my husband out. I'm unemployed, and he works his tail off, so money is tight (or non existent in some cases). It would be nice to get able to get away for a little while and not stress about where that money could be going instead.

I would like to win so I could take my daughter Ashley out...Olive Garden is her favorite restaurant, and since I got laid off a month ago, we don't have much extra money to eat out. It's just the two of us, and it would be a nice evening out to forget the stress in life at this juncture.

I would love to win and gave a ridiculously overdue date night with my husband.

I would like to win so I could take my stepdaughter out. She just had a birthday in December, and it kind of got pushed aside because of the holidays, then her younger brother turned 1 in January. My oldest son has Autism, so unfortunately she is the middle child stuck between a 4 year old with Autism, and a 1 year old, and both need a lot more hands on care. Compared to the boys she is pretty self sufficient, and unfortunately doesnt always get the attention she needs and deserves. Having 3 kids and only 1 income is really hard, so there's no going out money. I know if we won and I could take her out, just her, she would feel so special.
ReplyDeleteThank you for considering us, and good luck to everyone!
I'd like to take my husband out to dinner with this. The reasoning is because we don't really get a lot of date nights. He's always working, and his hours are weird. Plus funds are usually tight on top of really having no one to watch our son. HOWEVER, we had someone from our church offer to watch him one time before our daughter is born March 17th (and hopefully not sooner... lol). But then the problem is knowing what to do. I know my husband likes the Olive Garden (we've never gone together), and it would be a real treat for him. And a real treat for both of us to not worry about the expense, because when we do go out we usually split an order.
ReplyDeleteLove, Ashley Graybill ;-)
Ohhh, yummy yum!! Olive Garden is fun fun fun!
ReplyDeleteIt just so happens my daddy is taking my kids for a sleepover at the end of this month and Josh and I are going to go out somewhere and do something, mayhaps a nice dinner could be that somewhere/something!
Mary Gauvin
I'd love to take my husband out. His birthday is coming up on February 29th. He only gets to celebrate his birthday once every 4 years! He's an awesome father to our 3 kids and he's a really hard worker who deserves a treat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!

I will love to give my daughter a gift so she can take her family to celebrate her husband's coming birthday. Besides we all love Olive Garden. Thank you for this opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI would take my mom because it is her favorite place to eat. We could just eat the salad and bread sticks and be happy :)

I would really like the gift card so me and my best friend could go out for a nice diner. I work all the time but never have enough to go for a nice diner. We are beat friends because we dates in high school. We have to wait to date because he turned 18. One more year to go. Itself have waited three years to be together. We haven't dated anyone else. It would just be very nice to do something different like actually go to a resturaunt and eat. Thankyou. -Sharon
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win for a Mommy-Daughter day out. Between me working full time and also going to school full time, along with my husband working a different schedule, we don't get a ton of one-on-one time with the kids, and I know my daughter would love to go out to a nice lunch with Mommy (Or, I could give it to my husband for a daddy-daughter day out too). Being the first child, she use to be able to have us all to herself but now she has to share us and I'd love to have more time with the kids one at a time.

I would like to win this so that I could have the opportunity to "date" my husband again. In the daily rush of life trying to manage everything and have two happy boys... Some things have fallen short. My husband is running a store and also back in school with a full course load. "Our" time has virtually dissapeared along with our funds. I want to win this, so I can have the chance to take my husband out. Remind him of how much he means to me, and remind him that their is so much more to us than just where we are at right now. Right now, everything seems to be a struggle & I know I can't stop time or slow it down, but to have a night out. Well, it would be a chance to remind him of how things used to be & how I still have faith that once we get past this, things will turn around... Thank you for the chance... XoXo

I would like to nominate Heidi Bernabucci. I don't personally know her but I do know how great of a woman she is. Recently I was a recipient of her kindness, she sent a gift for my daughter; just because she thought she would like it. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. I would like to return the favour and hope she can have this for her lunch with Heidi S, I know how much those lunches mean to both of them.
ReplyDeleteI would like to win one so I can take my friend to lunch with me.... She just lost her husband of 62 years and I know she will feel lost so I made a promise to myself to visit or go to lunch once a week with her... I know this would help me when I was at he viewing I hugged her amd said I would be sure to stop and visit and she said "can you come tomorrow?" I had to remind her that she would be busy because tomorrow was the funeral and It just showed me how afraid she is to be home and feel lonely... Thank you her name is Alice McCaulley and I know she wou;ld love to go to lunch!!! This is Judy Neyman...
ReplyDeleteI'd take my 1 year old Granddaughter for some fun and time alone with Grandma!
